IELTS General Writing Task 2 Essay Examples

IELTS General Writing Task 2 Essay ExamplesStudents often wonder what IELTS General Writing Task 2 can do for them. One reason they ask this question is that they might be having trouble with the first writing task on their IELTS test. They are expecting to receive more than just a workbook to study from, but they are also expecting more than just an outline or any kind of way to organize their ideas and thoughts for their essays. For students who are having a hard time with IELTS General Writing Task 2, I have a few hints that will help them begin to make up for lost time. Some of these tips are things they already knew, but others are things they can only derive through experience. When learning new things, especially new skills, it is good to know what you are doing. It is just as important to find out what you do not know, because in the end you will have learned the important things about writing essays, but you won't have learned everything.Students must start by thinking about how much they enjoy writing, before they can know what they should write. A writer will never be completely comfortable when he or she starts out. Not because the process is hard, but because the writer hasn't yet started to enjoy it. At least it should be that way!Once the writer has decided what particular topic will be covered, he or she must begin thinking about how to write about it. Knowing this information ahead of time will give him or her an advantage when he or she writes. This doesn't mean, however, that he or she will automatically know what to write. That is one of the questions that must be answered before starting.Students should ask themselves if they are writing to impress the instructor or to impress other students. If they are writing for the professor, then they will need to take time and use some writing prompts. This will show the teacher that they have taken the time to think about what they are writing. In most cases, students are going to write for themselves . While this is the best way to learn the actual skills of writing, it will not always be the easiest way. And you must be prepared to be experimental. There are plenty of ways to put words together and to move sentences along, so don't get discouraged when your essay doesn't come out exactly the way you would like it to.Students should realize that just because they wrote it doesn't mean it is good. There are many ways to correct and improve what they write. They just have to continue to practice writing and ask the questions they didn't answer earlier.Lastly, students can still improve their IELTS General Writing Task 2 essays with a little bit of patience and persistence. They just have to be willing to read and study other essays and to take the time to polish up their own essay. All students want to be very successful at writing, but not all students are motivated to do so. The most important thing for these students is to start early and continue to write.
